ABOUT US
Al Amal Institute for the Disabled is the first and only organization of its kind in both scope and reach not only in Lebanon but also in the Middle-East. We not only care for the disabled, empowering them to turn into productive contributors to society and the national economy, but also reach tens of thousands of marginalized people through a network of 69 other NGOs serving 23,000 individuals in need across Lebanon.
Our 120 beneficiaries with disabilities (40 residents at our center in Broummana, and 80 farmers around the country) are actively involved in the production and preparation of relief packages containing food crops and personal care items. To ensure that our packages reach the intended beneficiaries, we hand them out personally. At every delivery, even when we have hundreds of them to make, our Executive Director Mr. Nassib El Solh is always present to supervise the deliveries and meet the beneficiaries.
